LCF Get Involved Collier! 2024 Volunteer Expo

The Leadership Collier Foundation (LCF), of the Greater Naples Chamber, invites LCF alumni, current LCF classmates, and ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS to learn more about opportunities to engage in our community at our ninth annual "Get Involved Collier! Volunteer Expo."

Non-profit and government agencies within Collier County that have needs for board members, committee members, or general volunteer needs will have exhibitor tables. Guests are invited to network with representatives from these organizations about their needs, learn more about their mission, and see what might be a good fit for your valuable time investment.  

EXHIBITORS: We invite non-profit and government organizations with volunteer and/or board of director needs to register for an exhibitor table. This opportunity is not for clubs seeking only to grow club memberships.

This initiative provides a range of programs in Collier County aimed at assisting families and individuals, empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency and personal success. Catholic Charities of Collier County also played a crucial role in delivering essential relief following Hurricane Ian.

At Royal Palm Academy, we proudly partner with Community Pregnancy Clinics, which has been serving Southwest Florida since 1974, offering vital resources, supplies, and confidential services to mothers, families, and babies. Following Hurricane Ian, our community came together to support those in need through a Baby Drive hosted by Royal Palm Academy, assisting families severely impacted by the storm as they rebuild and recover.

Our students actively participate in packing meals for Meals of Hope, an organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to communities in need. Founded in 2007, Meals of Hope has packed over 80 million meals, supporting both local food pantries in Southwest Florida and communities worldwide. Through these events, our students learn the importance of service and making a positive impact both locally and globally.

At Royal Palm Academy, we proudly support Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee by generously donating gifts through the Angel Giving Tree. Our goal is to spread joy and make Christmas memorable for as many children and families in Immokalee as possible.

Royal Palm Academy proudly supports the Poor Clare Nuns, a religious community dedicated to a life of poverty, prayer, and contemplation, as envisioned by St. Clare of Assisi over 800 years ago. Located in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, their monastery, San Damiano, continues this tradition today. Each year, our school family hosts a food and sundries drive to aid the Poor Clare Sisters in their sacred mission.

At Royal Palm Academy, our students actively sponsor an annual food drive to collect items for Thanksgiving, benefiting St. Matthew's House. Founded in 1987 by a dedicated bible study group, St. Matthew’s House started with a mission to provide food and clothing to the homeless, growing over the years into a comprehensive organization focused on spiritual and social transformation. Through our support, students learn the value of compassion and community service, contributing to a meaningful cause that impacts lives locally and beyond.

At Royal Palm Academy, our students engage in meaningful volunteer work at the Everglades Wonder Gardens, where they prepare snacks for the animals and learn firsthand about our local ecosystem and conservation efforts. Established in 1936 as The Reptile Gardens, the Wonder Gardens has evolved into a beloved attraction showcasing the beauty and biodiversity of old Florida. For over eighty-five years, the Wonder Gardens has been a source of inspiration and education, enriching our community with its unique blend of tropical flora, fauna, and historical charm.
