Teaching the Whole Child
At Royal Palm Academy, our faculty and staff are committed to teaching the whole child with a multidisciplinary approach based on Catholic formation.
We meet each child at their level so that their education has a natural progression that fosters a love of learning, gives freedom to curiosity, and nurtures their soul.
Classwork is rigorous and hands-on, pushing our students to explore their abilities and grow their problem-solving skills. Throughout the school year, students will focus on customary educational subjects based on these four pillars:
- Academics
- Spirituality
- Leadership
- Athletics
In addition to core academics, all students, from pre-K3 to 8th grade, participate in Spanish, art, music, and technology classes. By including these subjects in our curriculum, we are fulfilling our commitment to provide a rich education that teaches the mind and prepares the heart to form tomorrow’s leaders.
Our Academics Approaches
Royal Palm Academy teachers use various academic approaches to form the foundation of our students’ education. Some of these approaches include:
- Orton-Gillingham Approach: This program is a multisensory approach to reading, helping students make connections between letters and sounds.
- Fountas & Pinnell: This program allows children to improve reading at their own pace through individualized and small group learning.
- Handwriting Without Tears: This program helps children develop and advance their motor and visual skills through fun, interactive tasks.
- Sadlier Math: This program integrates STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) applications and real-world problem solving to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how to utilize math effectively.
Our Dedicated Teachers Set Us Apart
