2023 Royal Palm Academy Public Speaking Contest

Our middle school students were challenged to write and prepare a speech on “What is Courage?” They courageously met this challenge and delivered their speeches before their classmates. Then the top three orators from each grade went on to represent their classmates at the first annual RPA Public Speaking Contest on April 28, 2023. The final nine students spoke before a panel of visiting judges, and the top three finalists were recognized and awarded prizes.

Royal Palm Academy 2023 Spanish Spelling Bee

All Royal Palm Academy students attend Spanish classes. As the school year progresses, their knowledge and comprehension of the Spanish language grows, culminating with the annual Spanish Spelling Bee at the end of the year. Each class holds its own classroom spelling bee, with the top three winners from each class recognized at the school-wide Spanish Spelling Bee. This year’s competition took place on May 4, with the first place winners from each class competing in their division: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade – Division 1; 4th and 5th grade – Division 2; and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade – Division 3. We had a lot of fun and a wonderful surprise along the way. Congratulations to our final winners!
